3 star Atrium Hotel in Skarbimierz near Brzeg

Skarbimierz (Opolskie Voivodeship) is a village belonging to the one of the finest in Europe Special Economic Zones. Wałbrzych SEZ "INVEST-PARK" was placed in the 4th place in Europe and in the 22nd in the entire World from among 600 SEZs analyzed by the "fDi Magazine" of the Financial Times. Hence, no one is surprised that a group of investors decided to open a business hotel in such a great location. However, in determining the success of the entire project time they turned for help to the HCG in the pre-open activities. We encourage you to read the following stages of the work that we undertook to open the hotel at the end of May 2014.

With undisguised proud we announce that 3 star Atrium Hotel in Skarbimierz is now open! After months of effort and hard work – now we know it was worth it, because the result exceeded even our expectations. We invite you to visit the facility and its website. Please also note that our work on this project has not yet come to an end and for the next few months you will be able to meet us in the hotel.

Training, procedures, standardization

The last weeks we spent on training, implementation of the procedures, and preparation of the control methods. Unification of the booking process, commercial offers preparation, conferencing, serving dishes and their preparation is the key to success. Standardization of services will help us to provide the highest quality of service and the satisfaction of the guests, while giving them a guarantee of repeatability of each process.

Menu and the first tasting

The Atrium Hotel kitchen concept is very simple – on a grill in the open dining room food for our guests is prepared. Therefore they always witness a food preparation of their own order. And what best suits the barbecue and baseball? The delicious, juicy meat of course! Therefore, together with the chef we have created a menu, which features the extremely popular, but also universal: steaks and burgers. After the tasting, we know that we are very close to achieve our goal.

The hotel system and the presence on booking portals

We are at the stage of implementation of the hotel and gastronomic system. They allow us to fully control the reservations and guests flow. Thanks to them, we will be able to compare the outcome with the budget estimations and, if necessary, adjust the action taken, or strengthen these with the best results.. At the same time, we have placed the hotel on one of the online booking website. We look forward to first questions our guests might have!

Technology of kitchen appliances and equipment

The project looks less and less like a construction site and more like a ready to welcome guests hotel. The rooms have a set of furniture, bathrooms are fully equipped. In the restaurant there is a bar with a beautiful countertop painted in black. The chef is very proud of the outside grill located in the restaurant. The technology of kitchen appliances is already in place. The cleaning up process has already begun in order to prepare the kitchen for the first tests and visits.

Creating a crew

We know that the most important element in building a brand, creating an atmosphere, determining the quality and that intangible “something” that makes guests often choose the hotel is a friendly and dedicated staff. With great solicitude and tireless effort we were searching for people, who as well as we understand the meaning of hospitality. At this point, we have the most important employees. Our great support are Head Chef and Director of Operations.

3 star Atrium Hotel is located in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, which makes it a destination mainly for business customers. Therefore, from the beginning of our marketing activities we has been aiming for this group of people. Particular market differentiator (in the whole country), which are baseball fields, will be perfect in this case as a place to network for business customers. We already can picture this – after the conference or training they will be spending their afternoon on carefree,

Market research, budget and Mediaplan

Time flies! We analyzed the competitive projects and their actions, found out about market trends and the local market, so that we could determine the level of initial prices for Hotel Atrium. Right after that, we started working on the operating budget, which will be a guide for the implementation of complex strategies and taking important decisions. Thank to the meticulous planning of all activities and putting them together into a schedule of events nothing can surprise us and stand on the way to be relentless and determined in pursuing our goals.

Design consultation and finishing touch

Finishing works of the hotel are progressing according to schedule. Day by day we can see the effects of: smooth walls in the restaurant, carpet in the rooms. We proposed to change the concept of buffet breakfast – it is now located in the heart of the restaurant next to the bar and the grill. This allows guests to enjoy freshly prepared scrambled eggs, omelette or sausages straight from a special open grill. At the same time,
