As announced before, at the beginning of this year, after almost two years of extensive works, we have completed the last stage of the hotel investment in Podzamcze near Ogrodzieniec, 4* POZIOM 511 Design Hotel & SPA. Description of a complex hotel investment process in Podzamcze is presented below. The building land is located at the highest point of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland at 511 meters above sea level. As shown in the pictures, the swimming pool has been completely finished and filled with spring water from the abyssal intake. Installed along the entire length of the basin panoramic windows let guests at all times enjoy the incredible closeness of nature that surrounds them. Extremely nice to see how the plans turn into real solutions and tangible results. Soon you also will be able to enjoy the beauties of extraordinary place which is Poziom 511.
Tileworks throughout the hotel came to an end. In the gallery you can see photos of the finished pool hall and an example of a bathroom in the hotel room. We hope that this interior style suits your taste. If this is so, we are confident that the rest of the design inside the facility will be equally attractive to you. After all, everything we do is there to provide you maximum satisfaction and comfort.
Winter is fast approaching. Inside the hotel buildings finishing and furnishing works ongoing. Although the area surrounding the hotel does not look as impressive as in the summer we would like to share this view with you. We attach some photos of two buildings from the outside, surrounding areas and parking. Soon you will be able to enjoy them by yourself.
As shown in the attached photos, hotel corridors have already been fully finished. Laid carpets, painted walls and installed lighting. Soon the first guests will walked through them to their rooms. Time passes relentlessly, and think that just recently we have been preparing credit request for this project…
As you can see on the picture, the swimming pool basin is almost ready. The mosaic has been laid and currently the workers concentrate on grouting. It goes without saying that it is essential for the future proper functioning of the pool and the entire technical back and the adjoining conference center. During last days many things has changed inside both buidings. The walls has been painted, floors carpeted and lightings instaled inside all the rooms. To intensify impressions connected with the beautiful views from the windows we decide to cover some walls with mirrors. Already large rooms will look even larger now. We simply can’t wait to welcome first Guests in Poziom 511.
Tiling works have just begun in the rooms intended for the spa center. Have a look at the visualization of baths and the pictures of the current state of the facility. Can you feel relaxation coming?
In accordance with the architectural design, the limestone rock on which the buildings were constructed should be visible in the lobby, bar and spa. Visualizations lift the veil of secrecy as you can see limestone elements in them. A lot of work ahead of us but the idea of the impressive rock inside the building as an exceptional symbol of the power of nature is already there.
The attached picture shows guide bars installed in the conference room. They allow quick and easy division of the conference room into two smaller units (each to accommodate 40 people). Thanks to this solution two conferences may be held simultaneously in comfortable conditions. During training sessions partition walls are helpful in planning exams or organizing group work. We are deeply convinced that _511 Guests will be satisfied with the quality of the conference services.
We have just finished installing interior doors in the two buildings. The works remain on schedule and thus it is probable that first Guests will visit _511 this fall already!
What we present here is only a teaser of what you can expect. We do not want to spoil the surprise and hope you will have the opportunity to enjoy the views yourselves.
Finishing works have begun in both buildings. We have uploaded pictures from the first stage of the process bringing results that can be seen in the visualization. Materials have been purchased, specialists are working and we are waiting for the outcome of their efforts.
Today, interior aluminum panels were mounted under the roof construction. High humidity in the building will not pose any threats to the construction. In addition, the panels have thermo-insulating functions. This advantage is going to be especially beneficial in the summer when guests will enjoy a refreshing bath at the POZIOM 511 Hotel Design & Spa.
The progress made in construction and finishing works enabled us to move on to the next stage concerning the lobby, the front desk and its back. We have just begun but can already imagine the future spacious representative interior of this POZIOM 511’s zone. We have attached visualizations of the lobby design which will give you an image of the atmosphere that we plan to achieve. What is more, on both floors plastering works are almost finished.
Finishing works remain on schedule. Today, the Podzamcze investment already boasts a significant number of glass partitions in Phase 2. There will be glass corridor walls and glass room walls which will certainly add to the modern look of the interior and provide natural light to the facilities. More photos to be added soon…
Since the electrical installation, ventilation and air-conditioning systems have been mounted, finishing works including drywall could begin. For the current state of the interior, see photos.
Construction works at the Poziom 511 Design Hotel & Spa are about to finish. We are now focused on the costly ventilation and air conditioning systems. The local market analysis revealed that only one hotel in the neighborhood is fully air-conditioned. In the 21st century, air conditioning is a regular standard that should be met by every decent facility wishing to call itself a quality hotel. Our precise concept allows us to contribute to the perfect functionality and unique ambience of the hotel from its very beginnings.
Last week in Podzamcze was all about roofing and window woodwork. We are getting close to the end of the construction phase which will be a long awaited milestone in the project. You will find the current state of the building as photographed this morning in the Gallery on the right.
In the previous entry we shared the idea to arrange a SPA & Wellness center in the old building (Phase 1). According to the entire concept of the investment, the center has to stand out on the Polish market and be known for its highest quality. It cannot be one of a hundred facilities offering mud masks or other standard spa therapies but a unique place meeting highest European standards and representing latest trends. We will not to give you all details now but we would like to share our vision of the center instead.
As we mentioned before, one building has been on the territory of the Poziom 511 Design Hotel & Spa for a couple of years now. It was supposed to be converted into a hotel but the number of rooms was not sufficient to allow satisfactory return indexes in the near future. Interestingly, it was one of the reasons why the Investor decided to contact us. After having visited the property, we decided that once the second storey is constructed,
After hours of heated discussions and brainstorms, after having considered and rejected several concepts, we are pleased to announce our decision. The Investor approved of our choice. We were searching for a unique name that would refer to the extraordinary location of the hotel. We hesitated between an English and a Polish name and eventually decided to name the hotel Poziom 511 Design Hotel & SPA. “Poziom 511” (poziom = Eng. level) indicates that the hotel is situated at 511 meter above the sea level and suggests that the hotel provides services of the highest level.
Due to the fact that we are satisfied with the progress in construction works, the time has come to verify the architectural design. In a few months, we will mount all types of installations and for that reason exact functions of each room as well as room structure, infrastructure and standard have to be specified. The hotel will offer rooms of various sizes, functions and standards. It is called a design hotel and thus each room will represent another style and color scheme.
In terms of construction works, October will be an intense period for the Podzamcze Investment. Laying tons of concrete, the roof framework construction and preparing the lot for the needs of the future car park and the access road are the main goals for the construction team. Meanwhile, we are working on verifying the architectural design of the interior. We will present you with the outcome of these works in the next entry and for the time being provide you with a brief overview of challenges posed by the rock as a material to work with.
All construction works have already begun. The majority of workers were engaged in earthworks aimed at preparing a suitable excavation for the foundation. It would be a regular procedure but the fact that the property is situated on the rock made it more complicated. Bedrock is not easy to treat and for this reason this phase of construction works appeared to be more time-consuming than in standard conditions. We have attached pictures of the present state of the access road that will have to be taken care of shortly.
At this stage, we are considering all previously prepared architectural designs. Due to the fact that a second facility is to be built next to the future hotel and form its part, we have encountered many technical obstacles. However, these are not obstacles that we could not overcome. Design consulting is what we focus on currently. There it is. All our efforts put into investment loan procedures related to the design hotel in Podzamcze resulted in conclusion of the loan agreement between a bank and the Investor we represent. Once we completed this stage, we can concentrate on the design concept of the property. The acquired financing will certainly help us successfully implement our daring business concept. Let us begin!
The Podzamcze project has been moving on fast. This week, we developed and submitted the credit application for financing next stages of the design hotel construction. It is worth mentioning that acquiring resources for such an impressive investment requires profound knowledge in various fields of law, finance and business. The loan agreement has to take into consideration all potential future events and their consequences and remains effective for many years. The application has to be thus prepared very carefully and precisely.

A couple of days ago, we received an inquiry from an Investor, owner of a building lot in a very attractive location. The property is situated at the highest point of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland in the vicinity of the castle ruins in Ogrodzieniec. The building situated on the land, in its raw state, used to house a weather station. In 2009, the Investor decided to open a hotel on the purchased land. The second part of the building was to be constructed according to an utterly different architectural design.
